Boston Marathon Relief Efforts
BOSTON MARATHON RELIEF EFFORTS
Following the Boston Marathon tragedy, Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital (SRH) received an outpouring of support and inquiries about how to help. During such a tragic time, Spaulding has been there to help those in need of rehabilitation. With our new facility that opened on April 27, 2013, Spauding is proud to be a special resource for Greater Boston, New England, and beyond. In our new facility in the Charlestown Navy Yard, Spaulding provides comfortable and accessible patient accommodations for those who need it. Spaulding is known for its strength in providing quality treatment, and we have built on those strengths to care for patients and our community during this time.
We remain grateful for the extraordinary show of support we have received, and we thank you for joining with us to keep all the victims and survivors in our thoughts and prayers.
For questions please contact Suzanne Adams, Director of Development Communications, at 617-952-6884 or firstname.lastname@example.org
Below are several ways to support the survivors and their families:
Give to Spaulding’s Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program
Spaulding Rehabilitation Hospital has created the Comprehensive Rehabilitation Program Fund. This fund helps to support the survivors who were gravely injured in the attack and are recovering from amputations, burns and other injuries. This fund will help to support others who are recovering from similar injuries in the years to come. Click here to make a donation.
Support our Race for Rehab Team
Our runners faced the unspeakable on Marathon Monday when they witnessed terror on Boylston Street or were diverted from the finish line and unable to immediately determine the safety of their friends and families. Each year our team of runners raises money to support Spaulding's Annual Fund, dedicated to providing support to the hospital's most pressing needs including: patient care, teaching, research and capital improvements. Click here to make a donation in their honor.
Host a Fundraising Event
We have received several inquiries about fundraising events including bake sales and races. If you would like to hold an event please contact Lindsay Corbo, Special Events Manager, at 617-952-6881 or email@example.com
